A good Scottish spurtle is not on your average household goods shelf - a timely reminder from a company in Edinburgh sent me to e-bay to investigate for a less costly one - success. One spurtle ,complete with a wee tartan bow tie, is now nestling in amongst the kitchen tools. Two bowls of porridge await a good swirl in the morning! Thank you for allowing me to remember my youth in Aberdeen .
