    First rate for the price

The thing I like best about the Wacom tablet is the feeling of friction between the pen and surface. It makes the process of drawing feel very natural. The size isn't a problem: I tend to work within the space the curve of the wrist anyhow, so this too feels natural. It's easy to use and the keys on the pen and pad are simple to configure. It has the wireless option, and the kit is available separately for about 40 quid. What this model misses - and this is purely price related - is tilt control, which is important for some Photoshop brushes. If you don't particularly care about that, the tablet is about as good as you can get. You can upgrade to a btter model as your skills improve, or grab a cheap Huion as a transitional tool.

    Buy Cheaper, Buy Twice.

using the application provided to control the pen is not extremely customisable as the pen requires extreme cutomisation, because you will find that with the little space on the pad, you can't even draw precisesly and moving around by lifting the pen up and then down to draw is frustrating. Both the Monitor and Mouse mode are irritating as Monitor mode is to fast in movement, and Mouse mode doesn't have the sensibility to customise On Mouse Down sensitivity and On Mouse Up sensitivity. In other words, buy cheap buy twice. It would be nice to move faster when you lift the pen, but sadly, You can't. Hence Made in China.

  • Excellent small tablet.

I have used a larger Wacom tablet for many years. I had to buy a new one when serial connections went out of fashion and another when Windows 10 came in. This time I have spent less but I'm happy to report that I am managing very well. The buttons on the pen are a little fiddly and there is no erasure (but that feature was often on the blink). I have not found the small scale of the tablet a problem – and it's nice to have more room on my desk. There are four buttons on the tablet but I prefer to use my spare hand on the keyboard or a handy mouse. Altogether I'm very satisfied.
