About this product

Product Information

The explosive life story of Special Forces operative Jason Fox, star of Channel 4's 'SAS- Who Dares Wins' and 'The Real Narcos'. A breathtaking account of men at war and the life that follows. THE NUMBER ONE BESTSELLER 'A vivid, searing account of a life at war.' BEAR GRYLLS This is a true story. The events depicted took place during the last decade in an unnamed warzone. The names and locations have been redacted to protect the security of those involved and the practices of the British Special Forces. Out of respect for the KIA and survivors, everything else has been told as it happened. Jason Fox served with the SBS for over a decade, thriving on the close bonds of the Special Forces brotherhood and the 'death or glory' nature of their missions. Battle Scars tells the story of his career as an elite operator, from the gunfights, hostage rescues, daring escapes and heroic endeavours that defined his service, to a battle of a very different kind- the psychological devastation of combat that ultimately forced him to leave the military, and the hard reality of what takes place in the mind of a man once a career of imagined invincibility has come to an end. Unflinchingly honest, Battle Scars is a breathtaking account of Special Forces soldiering- a chronicle of operational bravery, and of superhuman courage on and off the battlefield. 'The most important book you'll ever read. Battle Scars will save lives.' TOM MARCUS, author of SOLDIER SPY

Thank you. This 3 book collection was shipped, very well packed, and delivered very quickly. The "very good" condition of them all was an accurate description. The fact that photos of the actual books for sale, and not stock photos were shown by this seller, was a one hundred per cent positive for me, thankyou. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this seller.

A great read! This is a must read for anyone interested in this kind of subject! Read half way through already and I’ve only had the book a day

This is a must read for anyone interested in this kind of subject! I’m half way through only having the book for around a day. It’s a very interesting book indeed with humorous quips along the way, and I’m looking forward to reading Foxies friends/work colleagues books next, Ollie & Ant. I recommend this book 100% for some real life stories which put you right in the heart of the action at times making you feel as if you were a part of what went down, well done Foxy it’s a fab read👍🏻🦊

  • Exciting, honest and written from the heart.

Compelling reading, you just have to have the greatest admiration for the men who have the physical and mental strength to carry out their duties, made all the more remarkable by the admission of having PTSD, a must read. Undoubtedly I will read it again in the future.

  • The best one yet!

I have started reading this book and honestly I’m not much of a reader and it has already got me drawn in. I bought the Ant Middleton one the same time as Jason Fox’s, I love them both as people however Jason Fox’s book is definitely what I was hoping Ants to be. It describes his time in the war zones. Amazing 100% recommend!
