    easy to use it has double scart sockets so i can use my vidio and dvd player with it

    I already had this product which I was very happy with had no trouble with it until it was old so I replaced it with the same but made the mistake of having a reconditioned one which after a month I set it to record two programs at the same time it only recorded one so next time I will buy a new one of the same

    Don't Ever Buy Second Hand

    I am sure these were great when brand new but this is my second Humax Freeview box and both have developed operational issues after a couple of years. The 9150 now loses it's configuration if I put it into standby. I have changed the memory back-up battery but this didn't fix it. Have also read several forums with many people suffering the same issue. No-one has a fix and Humax just blame the hardware. This will be the last Humax that I purchase. Overall not impressed.

    Reliable basic but quality freeview recorder and easy to use.

    First of all this is the most basic of the Humax range of Freeview recorders so there is no High definition or upscaling. However what you do get is a good reliable recorder with easy to use guide and schedule operation. The two scart sockets give connectivity to TV and video recorder and if set to RGB output the picture quality is very acceptable indeed. Series record option saves having to remember to set it each day or week for a particular programme - a nice feature. The remote control is user friendly too making the overall viewing experience easy and trouble free. Overall then, really good value for money and ideal for those just wanting a basic recorder without the frills but with quality and reliability built in.

    Just what we needed!

    Great little machine. Just what we wanted. Easy to use once I'd worked out the online instructions, which were a bit confusing. No problems and have been using it for about 2 weeks. Delivered on time. Good condition. As it was factory refurb and reset I had to put a code in for something (can't remember what) and it was 3 or 4 zeros.

    Good value and works well.

    NIcely made and generally works very well. However, it is worth noting that this is a generic remote control that has been configured for the Humax PVR 9150T. As such, although main function buttons are obvious some of the less used functions (e.g pip functions) have been re-allocated to other buttons. The supplier provides a 'key' list on his receipt to identify which buttons do what! I provide photos of the control and the key list provided which I have copied, re-vamped and stuck to the back of my control! You do quickly get used to the alternative button functions and it does work well.
