Bought as a third unit to go with a new TP-Link 1200 Powerline Kit from PC World. No-one sells them in threes or new single units so this was the only affordable option. The unit auto-paired with the others automatically as soon as it was switched on so no problems there. The connection (wired and wireless) worked out-of-the-box with no fiddling needed. For most users this is all that would be needed. However, I wanted to setup the network in a very specific way. This was easily achieved using the TP-Link phone app and a laptop web browser. Despite being used on different ring mains, the network speed and stability is brilliant. Getting 130Mbps wireless from this unit and no drop-outs at all - ever. Very pleased with the purchase and would definitely consider the Powerline option again ... Bought as a third unit to go with a new TP-Link 1200 Powerline Kit from PC World. Additional Powerline Wifi adapter
This is the single additional adapter that TP-Link don't sell! If you have a kit and want to add another Wifi Powerline, TP-Link don't sell these separately so you are forced to go for a refurbished one like this one. It looks new and certainly performs like a new one. Easy to pair into your original system and clone your Wifi network. All in all an excellent product.

WiFi Dead Spots? Not any more!
Having just switched from Sky Fibre to Vodafone, our old problem of WiFi deadspots returned. Sky Q sorted this by making each box a powerline-enabled WiFi hotspot - functionality that was lost when we switched. Having used TP-Link powerline devices in the past, I went for this option because of the data speed and pass-through power plugs. This device is giving powerline & WiFi speeds in excess of 12 times the speed of our broadband service, so there are no bottlenecks even when streaming 4K content to the TV or main Sky Q box.
