I was glad I did as it's a very sturdy good quality pole, I chose this over the telescopic ones as I read they slip down with wind vibrations. I thought it was going to be white but they are silver but it's still very nice and the quality is exactly as described, I varnished the gold ball before putting up for the colour to last. Very pleased with purchase. 👍😁
