Fantastic upgrade over stock hotend, and definitely IS suitable for PLA 👍
I have an Ender 5 Pro which, for the last few weeks, has been giving me headaches with failed or untidy prints due to partial clogging. After replacing the Bowden tube (again) i thought i would try something a little more drastic and replace the entire hotend assembly. After a quick Google search i settled on this one has it was highly recommended and is a direct replacement for the stock Creality assembly. The trouble with the stock assembly is that the Bowden tube goes all the way down to the nozzle and despite its supposedly high temperature tolerance, it breaks down rather quickly and bits of it end up clogging the nozzle. This one, being an all metal assembly keeps the Bowden tube high up away from the heat of the nozzle. A few said that all metal hotends arent really suited for ... I have been printing all week (around 50 hours total) and havent had a single clog and the prints are coming out much smoother then they ever did with the stock hotend. Just be sure to keep your retraction under 4mm and dial up the nozzle temp by about 5 degrees. On a side note, the service from 3D Printz was impeccable and delivery was very quick.
