    HUGE in size & content but difficult to use in a car.

    HUGE - not for folding or easy access...difficult to use in a car or store. Very detailed and full of interest with a 3 miles to an inch scale BUT little colour so surfaces appear flat. Good for route plotting but the comprehensive index is in such small print that I found it hard to use.

    Does the job.

    Can't get too excited about a UK road atlas, but it is much more up-to-date than my old one and in a slightly larger scale - all for a good price. Bought in case the satnav failed, or we hit traffic jams where old-fashioned map reading skills are required.

    Good value map that I keep in the car for the times when the Satnav goes down or there are roadworks etc.The only problem is it's a little too big to fit in the seat pocket of my car!
