Terms and conditions of the sale
Cancelling your order / Changing your mind
 
You have the right to cancel your order prior to despatch and anytime up to 7 days after receipt of the goods. You must put this in writing to us by email, by using the contact us link located within your account.
 
If you exercise your right to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost and we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery/ Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. All returns are subject to the following conditions, except where the goods are faulty or incorrectly described on this website.
 
- The product must remain sealed
- The product must remain unused
- The goods must be returned with all packaging
- You must take reasonable care of the goods and return them in their original and undamaged condition
- The product is returned with its original receipt/invoice
 
If non/all of the above are not met by the customer, we reserve the right to issue a 15% restocking fee of the original purchase price paid by the customer.
 
Goods excluded from the right to cancel
 
- Unsealed products such as computer software, computer hardware, computer flash memory, memory cards etc. A customer does not need to remove a product from heavily sealed packaging to see if the product is fit for their purpose or it is compatible for their own or third parties use. Compatibility of these types of product can be established/confirmed before purchase.
 
- You must take full care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit otherwise this may preclude you from obtaining a refund.
Once you have notified us that you are returning your order and we have issued you with a RMA number, once we have received the goods back undamaged, you will be refunded or credited within a maximum of 28 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your payment card for the goods (excluding any return postage costs) .
 
- If you return used goods then we have the right to refuse with immediate effect unless the goods are faulty.
 
Faulty or incorrectly described goods
 
In the case of faulty or incorrectly described goods please notify us (as described in this section), return the goods yourself at your own cost (unless otherwise agreed) and risk, in this case, we strongly recommend you use secure packaging and an insured delivery method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
 
All goods returned as faulty will be checked and if found to have no fault will be returned to you. We have the right to charge a return administration and carriage fee of £1.50 if no fault is found with any goods returned. No refund will be processed until the returned goods have been received back into our warehouse and fully checked.
 
Exchange of goods
 
You are welcome to exchange any goods purchased from this website provided they meet the criteria set out in the section 'Cancelling your order / Changing your mind' and criteria set out in the section 'Obtaining a Returns Authorisation Number' located on this page.
 
We have the right to charge a return administration and carriage fee of £1.50 for an exchange of goods.
 
Refunds
 
A seller has one calendar month in which to issue a refund from date of receipt.

Deliveries
 
- We will not be held responsible for delays on deliveries through any type of variable.

- UK Customers. You must inform us in writing within 21 days from the date of despatch if you fail to receive your item. Day one being the next available working day after despatch,
 
- UK Missing items. We will replace any items that fail to arrive to the customer after 15 working days from despatch, by us. Royal Mail state in their Terms & Conditions, that items will be classed/agreed and understood to be/as lost after 15 working days from posting date. - Worldwide Customers. You must inform us in writing within 31 days from the date of despatch if you fail to receive your item. Day one being the next available working day after despatch,
 
- Worldwide Missing items. We will replace any items that fail to arrive to the customer after 25 working days from despatch, by us. Royal Mail state in their Terms & Conditions, that items will be classed/agreed and understood to be/as lost after 25 working days from posting date. We cannot and will not issue any replacements until this deadline has passed. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are agreeing to accepting these Royal Mail Terms & Conditions.
 
- Missed items/Missed Delivery. If you are unable to take a delivery for any reason, i.e you are not available/present at the premises when the delivery is attempted then your package may be returned to the delivery courier/postal service's sorting office/depot. You may be required to re-arrange collection of your package at your own convenience/arrangement. We will not be responsible for any missed deliveries at any premises. If your package is returned to us, due to you, the customer failing to collect/re-arrange a new delivery date/schedule with the courier/postal service then we reserve the right to conduct one of the following;
i) If you agree to us re-sending your item once it arrives back to us, then we reserve the right to issue you the customer with a 'reasonable' return postage/carriage charge to cover our cost of re-sending the item, packaging fees and administration fee. We will inform you in writing about this and request your consent to issue/charge you this charge.
ii) If you request a refund, then we have the right to deduct a re-stocking fee on postage/carriage free purchases, from the original purchase price of the sale, to cover our initial outgoing postage/carriage/courier charges. We will inform you/notify you of this cost to us, in writing to you, before processing the refund to your original payment method.
iii) If you have paid for Royal Mail Special Delivery or an additional Courier on top of the purchase/product price, then we will deduct this amount in full (cost paid by the customer) from the original sale amount. We will inform you/notify you in writing before processing the refund. We will refund you in full for the item value purchase you paid on this website, at the time of purchase or what is on your invoice.

    You get what you pay for

    I paid a bit more to get a quality flash drive because I wanted it to be a permanent plugged-in storage device for my laptop. There were cheaper options, but I guessed that I could rely on SanDisk. That has paid off because it's first class and does the job perfectly. It's also very small and discreet, so it sits neatly on the side of my laptop without getting in the way. How on earth can they store so much stuff on a thing that's so tiny? Anyway I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it. Having tried cheap USB drives in the past and found them faulty or unreliable, I do recommend using a quality product. What's the point of storing things on a drive that's going to lose them?

    You get what you pay for.

    It does get very very hot. And since its made of plastic, I wonder how long it will last or maybe burn the house down. Sadly, most USB sticks these days get very hot. Problem with this however is, that it is advertised being very fast while reading. But nothing is mentioned about write speed. Write speed is less then 10MB per second. That is very slow. But it is small and good value. So good for when you have time, not good when you need to upload alot and fast.

    Hot product, but not in a good way.

    This USB drive has proven to be reliable so far but it gets worryingly hot quite quickly which casts some doubt on its long-term reliability. I find it's best to plug it in to a USB3 port just before using it and then remove it as soon as possible before it gets too hot to touch. It gets remarkably hot if left in place for any length of time.

    It does the job very well.

    So far so good. It works well and is beautifully compact. Not as robust a casing as previous versions of the sam manufacture, and no cover for the plug which is a pity. But it does the job very well.

    Takes up very little space - check compatibility with your car.

    Bought this for my wife's car as a music store hoping to merely copy all the mp3 files I already have on it. Slightly dismayed to find that the new car rejected it as not being readable. Doing some research reveals that drives this big are by default, formatted to "exFAT" and the car was looking for FAT32. As Windows has no native means of reverting this to FAT32 without a lot of fiddling around, I opted to use another smaller (32gb) drive which worked obviously with less music on it. However, that's not the Sandisk drive's fault but it's worth noting in case that's what you were planning to use it for. p.s I found no use for the security software pre-installed so got rid of it.
