    OH FOR A VIEWFINDER !!

    Brilliant 'little' camera but not little enough to slip into a pocket. Very easy to use as a point & shoot and the incredible zoom brings distant objects into sharp focus. My sole gripe is in the absence of a view finder. I knew it only had a screen but, in bright sunlight, I've been forced to guess my subject and photo almost blind. Not the best way of guaranteeing good results but, fortunately, very few bad pictures - and they are easily deleted. Controls are easy and Automatic mode does everything for you ...but with the advantage of other easily accessible & understood alternatives.

    Great size, powerful zoom- lacks viewfinder

    The camera is a great size, small pocket size and has an amazing zoom 30 times optical and 60 x digital. With being so small it is a little bit more difficult to hold it steady when taking pictures on a long zoom and the picture quality is ok but could be a little bit better but still excellent value and a great little pocket power zoom

    Fantastic Camera- Fantastic Firm (Pixel-deals)

    I was toying with the Idea of buying a Digital SLR, but while searching E-Bay for cameras I came across this Bridge camera, on reading reports it had a built in Macro lense wide angle, and 30x zoom. It was on sale between £299.95 and £149.99 at(Pixel-deals).I would only class myself as an amatuer, but the photos that I have taken are, In my eyes marvelous. It is easy to use and the people at Pixel-deals were very helpful with my enquiries and very quick to repond. I would personally recommend the SX500IS and also Pixel-deals

    Brilliant Camera in every way. Powerful zoom, quality pictures, easy to use

    Purchased for my wife after we had conducted extensive research. She loves it. Powerful zoom, excellent picture quality, sharp images and very easy to use. It is smaller than the vast majority for this type of camera and is extremely light. Couldn't be better. I won brownie points!
