    Satnav Versus Map

    Satnav will get you pretty close to your chosen destination, but this comprehensive road-map A3 paperback book of GB and Ireland will give you the bigger picture if you're in an unfamiliar area, and is also a big help for researchng where you might want to go for holidays etc. It shows motorways, A-roads, B-roads, towns/cities, rivers, national parks, private railways and plenty of other features, all colour-coded; with a two-page whole-country "condensed" map at the front showing motorways and junctions, main roads, cities and large towns, to give you an idea of distances and features. Absolutely invaluable.
